Our Drone Photos Featured in Western Art & Architecture Magazine!
We are excited to announce that 2 of our drone photos from #thehighlifedrone have been featured in an article in Western Art & Architecture Magazine! The article is titled Wanderings: Edmonds, Washington and was published in the April | May Edition. The first photo is looking towards Kingston, WA. In this photo is the MV Spokane a Jumbo-class ferry operated by Washington State Ferries. This ferry can carry up to 2000 passengers and 206 vehicles. She was built in 1972 by the Todd Shipyards in Seattle, Washington, for the Seattle–Bainbridge route. The ship remained assigned there until the construction of the Jumbo Mark II-class in the late 1990s displaced her to the Edmonds–Kingston route, where she has remained since.

EDMONDS WATERFRONT
Edmonds is a small town located off the East coast of the sound, just a 30-minute drive north from Seattle. This photo of the Edmonds waterfront was created by taking 10 drone photos at sunset and stitching them together. In this image you can see the Port of Edmonds Marina and the Edmonds fishing pier.
The marina includes 662 wet moorage slips and 232 dry storage spaces. There is ample guest moorage available for overnight and short-term stays. The Port provides showers, restrooms, fuel, and boat launch for both tenants and guests.
Edmonds Fishing Pier is a large L-shaped pier built in 1975. It is one of the most popular and scenic fishing piers in the Greater Seattle area. Salmon species caught at Edmonds Pier include Chinook, Coho, Pink, and Chum. Other fish to catch at Edmonds Fishing Pier include Rockfish, Flounder, Cabezon, Sculpin, Greenling, Dogfish, Ratfish, and Ling Cod.
